I am very glad to share with you my latest album ‘Always There’. Guitar and compositions by me, with the concept namely much inspired by heroes of mine, John McLaughlin and Allan Holdsworth.

The name of the album is about the gratitude for being able to connect and relate to good music at any negative or positive moment in life, regarding music as a therapeutic and life-affirming art form that is ‘always there’ strongly, regardless of how you are feeling at the time.

Me and Deborah Slijkhuis are proud to present the first album made as our duo DEB & SEB; For You. Our compositions on the album range from jazz, fusion, indie to electronic. With a host of great musician friends of ours playing on the album as well as songs played solely by us two, it has become a very diverse but also cohesive whole. It also marks my first time doing lead vocals on two of the tracks!
